Welcome to rahatulahsanrafi.com. These Terms of Service explain the rules for using my website and for working with me on a project. I have kept the language simple, so please take a few minutes to read it.

By using this website or hiring me, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.

If you are here for the 30-day money-back guarantee, it is written out in full further down this page. Nothing is hidden in small print.

Who I Am

My name is Rahatul Ahsan Rafi. I am a senior WordPress website designer and developer based in Bangladesh. I work remotely with clients worldwide, mainly in Canada, the US, the UK, the EU and Australia. This website is my official portfolio and service platform.

There is no agency behind me and no junior team. The person you talk to is the person who does your work.

My Services

Through this website, I offer WordPress services, including:

  • WordPress website design and development
  • Landing page design
  • WordPress e-commerce (WooCommerce) development
  • Custom WordPress development and integrations
  • WordPress speed work and bug fixing
  • WordPress SEO
  • WordPress maintenance and AI automation

Every project is different. The scope, timeline and price of your project are agreed before any work begins.

Using This Website

You are welcome to browse my website, read my blog and contact me. But you agree not to:

  • Use this site for any illegal purpose
  • Copy, resell or misuse my content without permission
  • Try to hack, damage or disrupt the website
  • Send spam or misleading messages through my contact forms

I reserve the right to block access to anyone who misuses this website.

Quotes and Payments

When you request a quote, I reply with a clear plan and one fixed price in CAD. There are no hidden fees and no surprise invoices.

  • Your price is agreed in writing before the project starts
  • Payment terms (deposit, milestones, or full payment) are set per project
  • Work begins after the agreed payment terms are confirmed
  • All payments are made through the methods we agree on together

If the scope changes midway, the price and timeline may change too. I will always quote the change and get your approval first. You are never billed for something you did not approve.

The Written Scope

Every project starts with a written scope. That means a simple, plain-English document or email that lists:

  • The pages and features I am building
  • What you need to send me, and when
  • The delivery date
  • The fixed price, and the payment schedule

You approve that scope before I start. It is the reference point for everything after: what “finished” means, what counts as an extra, and what the guarantee below is measured against.

This protects both of us. You know exactly what you are paying for, and I know exactly what I have promised.

Project Delivery and Revisions

I aim to deliver on time, every time. Your date is in the written scope before we start.

  • Revisions are included as set out in your scope
  • Work outside the original scope is quoted separately, and you approve it first
  • Late feedback, missing content or delayed access from your side may move the delivery date

I reply to all enquiries within 24 hours, usually the same day. During a project, I stay reachable.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

The simple version: if I have not delivered what we agreed in writing, you get your money back. Here is exactly how that works.

What the guarantee covers

Your project starts with a written scope, agreed before any work begins. If, within 30 days of your site going live, the delivered work does not match that written scope, tell me. I get 7 days to put it right. If I cannot, you receive a full refund of what you have paid me.

That is the whole test. Not whether you changed your mind. Not whether taste differs. Simply: did I deliver what I promised in writing, or not.

What the guarantee does not cover

  • A change of mind about scope after we agreed it in writing. New pages or features are quoted separately, and you approve before I build them.
  • Delays caused by missing content, feedback or access from your side.
  • Third-party costs I paid on your behalf, such as domain, hosting or premium plugin licences. Those are paid to other companies and cannot be returned by me.
  • Work you already approved in writing at an earlier milestone.
  • Results that depend on things outside the build, such as your traffic, your budget, your pricing or your market. I build the site properly. I do not promise a specific number of sales or leads.
  • Problems caused by changes made to the site by you or someone else after handover.

How to claim

Email me at admin@rahatulahsanrafi.com within 30 days of launch. Tell me what is missing compared to the written scope. That is all I need.

I reply within 48 hours. If I cannot make it right within 7 days, I refund you. No forms, no phone queue, no arguing.

Refunds are sent back through the same payment method you used, normally within 7 business days of being agreed.

Why I offer this

I have delivered 800+ projects. I would rather refund the rare person I cannot help than argue with them. Hiring a developer you have never met is a leap of faith, and this is me carrying some of that risk instead of putting all of it on you.

Refunds and Cancellations Outside the Guarantee

The guarantee above is the main promise. Outside of it, here is how refunds work, so both sides are treated fairly.

  • Cancel before work begins, and your deposit is refunded in full
  • Cancel after work has started, and the refund reflects the work already completed. I will show you what has been done and what it cost.
  • Once the 30-day guarantee window has passed, completed and delivered work is non-refundable
  • Third-party costs already paid on your behalf are not refundable

Every situation is different. If something is wrong, talk to me first. I have always found a fair solution, and I would like to keep that record.

Ownership and Intellectual Property

Your project: once the project is complete and fully paid, the website and its content are yours. Full ownership, no lock-in, no licence to keep paying for.

My website: everything on rahatulahsanrafi.com — text, design, images, case studies and blog articles — belongs to me. Please do not copy or reuse it without my written permission.

Portfolio rights: I may show completed projects in my portfolio unless you ask me not to. Just tell me, and I will respect it.

Third-Party Tools and Plugins

WordPress projects usually involve third-party themes, plugins, hosting and tools. These come with their own licences and terms.

I choose them carefully and I tell you what I am using. But I cannot control how those companies behave after your project is delivered. I am not responsible for their price changes, updates, outages, or for a plugin the owner stops supporting.

Client Responsibilities

To keep your project on track, you agree to:

  • Send the content, images and access I need, on time
  • Give feedback within a reasonable time
  • Keep your login details safe, and keep your own backups after handover
  • Use your website legally and responsibly

Most delays I have ever had came from this list. Stay on top of it and your project stays on schedule.

Communication and Time Zones

I work Canadian hours by choice. I hold call slots that fit EST and PST, including evenings, so you are not stuck taking a call at 6am.

My working days are Sunday to Thursday, with limited availability on Friday and Saturday. I still reply to messages every day. Anything urgent during your project, message me on WhatsApp.

Limitation of Liability

I do my best work on every project. But I cannot be held responsible for:

  • Losses caused by third-party plugins, hosting problems or server downtime
  • Damage caused by changes made to the site after delivery
  • Loss of data, profits or business caused by events outside my control

My total liability for any project will never be more than the amount you paid me for that project. Nothing in these terms removes any right you have under the law that cannot legally be removed.

Website Content and Accuracy

I try to keep everything on this website accurate and current. But I do not guarantee it is always complete or error-free. Content, prices and services may change at any time without notice.

Where I show results from past projects, those are real numbers from real clients. They are examples of what has happened, not a promise of what will happen for you.

Links to Other Websites

This website links to other sites, such as client projects, tools and resources. I am not responsible for the content or the practices of those websites.

Privacy

Your privacy matters to me. Your details stay with me. I never share or sell them. Please read my Privacy Policy to see how I collect and protect your information.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. That said, I would always rather solve a disagreement through an honest conversation than anything formal, and in eight years it has never gone further than that.

Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When I do, I change the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

If your project is already underway, the terms you agreed to at the start are the ones that apply to it. Updates are not applied backwards.

Contact Me

Any questions about these terms or the guarantee, just ask. I would rather answer before you hire me than after.
